Following the successful completion of our recent refurbishment, Mariposa Care is delighted to announce the upcoming Open Day at The Old Prebendal House Care Home on Wednesday 18th June. From 11 AM to 4 PM visitors are invited to explore the homes’ transformation and experience the vibrant elderly living community that thrives within this fantastic care setting.
Set within the Shipton-under-Wychwood, The Old Prebendal House care home has consistently been a beacon of exceptional care and support for the local community. The refurbishments have revitalised the residential and nursing care home with new interior decor, high-quality furnishings, and top-tier amenities that exceed care industry standards – whilst maintaining the “home away from home” feel that The Old Prebendal House is renowned for.
Additionally, the Garden Room Lounge, Hair Salon, and Reception Area have been redesigned; optimising the unique spaces to offer new opportunities for social engagement and community interaction. There are also new internal specialist areas, designed to meet the needs of residents with memory loss – providing safe and secure spaces that are both comfortable and engaging – mirrored externally within The Old Prebendal House’s unrivalled, extensive gardens and outdoor space for wellbeing.
During the Open Day, visitors will have the chance to explore these enhancements, participate in various activities and performances, and enjoy complimentary refreshments – offering a taster of the exceptional lifestyle and culinary experience available at the Old Prebendal House.
